Manufacturing Process
Material Selection and Preparation
Cellulose, synthetic fibers, and metal mesh are selected according to the required filtration application. Steel or plastic end caps are precision-cut and prepared for assembly.
Pleating
Automated pleating machines are used to fold the filtration media into uniform pleats, increasing the effective surface area and improving filtration efficiency.
Assembly
The pleated media is formed into cylinders and fitted with metal or plastic end caps using adhesives or mechanical seals.
Core and Support Structure Installation
A perforated metal or plastic core is installed to provide internal support, along with an outer support cage where required.
Sealing and Bonding
Heat sealing, adhesives, or ultrasonic welding are used for secure bonding. Gaskets or O-rings are incorporated where required.
Quality Control and Testing
Filter elements undergo pressure testing, flow-rate analysis, contaminant-retention testing such as ISO 2941, and visual inspection.
